Westfield Community Center

558 W. Broad St. (Main entrance on Palsted Ave.)

Westfield, NJ 

From Rt. 78 East or West (Exit 41)

  • From East Bound Exit:  Go left at Stop sign
  • From Westbound Exit:  Go right at Stop
  • At next Stop turn right
  • At light go straightup and over the hill (Colorado Steak House) on left.
  • Stay to right as you go down the hill so you can bear right just before the light.  Stay in your “right” lane.  This will take you over Rt. 22 (Blue Star Shopping Center is on your right)
  • Bear right at the “Yield” sign.  You will now be on “Park Ave” in Scotch Plains.   Note: Park Ave becomes N.  Martine Ave,
  • Turn left onto West Broad Street
  • Continue approximately ¾ mile to blinker (Scotch Plains Ave.)   Community Center is one block past the blinker.  Turn left on Palsted Ave.  Park on street.

From 22 East Bound:

  • Turn right onto Park Ave., Scotch Plains and follow directions above

From 22 West Bound:

  • Turn right at Scotch Plains Exit
  • At light, turn left and go over Rt. 22 towards Scotch Plains
  • Bear right at the “Yield” sign.  You will now be on “Park Ave” in Scotch Plains.   Note: Park Ave becomes N.  Martine Ave,
  • Turn left onto West Broad Street
  • Continue approximately ¾ mile to blinker (Scotch Plains Ave.)   Community Center is one block past the blinker.  Turn left on Palsted Ave.  Park on street.

From GS Parkway North or South:

  • Use Exit 35 Clark/Westfield)
    • From Southbound Exit, stay right onto Central Ave
    • From Northbound Exit, Stay to left – go right at Stop.  You are now on the circle – STAY ON THE CIRCLE.  Go UNDER Parkway and  take the first left exit off the circle onto Central Ave.
  • Continue straight through light
  • Next light, turn left onto Terminal Ave. (factories)
  • Next light, turn right.  As you cross RR tracks, road becomes Rahway Ave., Westfield
  • Approximately 1½ miles, turn left at Stop sign onto West Broad St.
  • Continue on West Broad 1/10 mile, to Palsted Ave.
